2013 – Climb to Mount Everest base camp.

2011 – Indianapolis, Indiana Black History Month “Meet The Artist” featured artist.

2010 – Received an education grant from Eli Lilly Company to research the Haida First Nation Band located in Vancouver British Columbia, Canada.

2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 – Recognized and honored by the National Society of High School Scholars from Claes Nobel of the Nobel Prize family.

2005 – Excellence in Education Award. Selection made by Ameena Ali, a Top 30 Lawrence Township Student.

2005 – Received a Proclamation from Mayor Deborah Cantwell of the city of Lawrence, Indiana in recognition of the observance of February as Black History Month.

2005 – Nominated and recipient for Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.

2004 – Mayor Cantwell proclaimed July 15th, 2004 as the Paul D. Sinclair Day for contributions made to the City of Lawrence.

2004 – Nominated and recipient for Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.

2003 – Recognized on WXIN Channel 59 News’ “Unsung Hero” segment.

2003 – Recognized on WRTV Channel 6 News’ “Making a Difference” segment.

2000 – Nominated and recipient for Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.
